Wines that reflect our vineyards and passion.

In an era where most wine is created by mega conglomerates, we take a different approach.   Each barrel is meticulously handcrafted with a single minded focus - to create  the best wines which reflect the special terrior of our vineyards.

off grid artesian winemaking

Here we make wine naturally using only time tested artesian techniques, gravity, and power from the sun. The historic Gold Creek weaves through our winery keeping a close eye on the gold panning relics dating back to the Gold Rush that are still visible.    Gold Creek produces Estate Grown wines crafted with the same bold and adventurous style as the original California miners who first settled on this property.

Announcing Our INAUGURAL Charity winemaking Event

On February 6, 2016 a select group of friends and winemakers joined us in Napa to launch our inaugural charity project.   Starting with California Syrah from our family vineyard in Amador County and from one of our favorite vineyards in Santa Barbara, the group handcrafted a delicious blend of Syrah (80%), Petite Syrah (11%), Malbec (4%), Petit Verdot (4%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (1%) to create our first charity wine which we titled "Rising Tide" to symbolize its purpose in helping others.

After creating this special blend, the group spent the evening debating numerous worthwhile charities before deciding on a charity to which we plan to donate 100% of the profits from the sale of our this year's charity wine project.   We are excited to announce that the recipient of our 2016 Charity Campaign is the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center ("BOEC").   The BOEC is a non-profit 501(c)3 human service organization whose mission is to expand the potential of people with physical, mental and emotional disabilities and special needs through meaningful, educational and inspirational outdoor experiences.   The program works with children, wounded veterans, and adults from around the USA.

The BOEC started in 1976 with an all-volunteer staff.   Today, the BOEC offers state of the art programming and features both volunteer and highly trained professional staff.   Its "purple jacket" staff can often be seen on the slopes of Breckenridge and Keystone Ski Resorts working with blind skiers, children with emotional disabilities, wounded warriors, and adults with special needs.   They also offer a highly successful Wilderness Program located near Breckenridge.
